Mega888 and the thirty one games the old site showed

Mega888 had a short page on the old lpe88.life: three download buttons, a chat link and a promise of "more than 30 slot games and 10 or more table games". Behind it sat thirty one game pages, each with a paragraph of translated review copy and a handful of screenshots from 2019. The copy often described a different game. The screenshots are what this page is built from.

What Mega888 is

Mega888 is a casino app built mostly around slots, with a few card tables. The old intro also mentioned poker, live games and fishing games, none of which appear in the screenshots. The slot list mixes titles that run on several other apps with names the old pages credited to half a dozen studios, frequently the wrong ones. Nothing on screen says who runs Mega888 or where it is licensed.

The old intro claimed Mega888 "can be downloaded for free on any device". It was never in Google Play or the App Store, and the old page only offered an Android file and two iPhone versions. There was no desktop version.

What the Mega888 lobby looks like

The old page has no picture of the game list itself. The closest thing is the room screen in front of Dragon Tiger: the Mega888 logo at the top, a coin icon with the balance on the left, a person icon with the player ID on the right, and a Back button. Two rooms, A and B, both with limits of 0.5 to 1000, show a countdown and a roadmap of past results in 龙, 虎 and 和. We don't show that screen, because the player ID on it looks like a phone number.

Inside the games, the frame tells you which family a title comes from. Eleven titles, including 5 Fortune, Aztec's Treasure, Cleopatra's Gold, Coyote Cash, Emperor Gate and Enchanted Garden, share one layout: Balance, Bet and Win boxes across the top, a Back button, a count of lines selected, numbered line tabs down both sides and a Lines, Bet, Autoplay and Spin row underneath. Most of these add a Random Jackpot meter between Minor and Major. A second group, including African Wildlife, Aladdin Wishes, Amazon Jungle, The Discovery and Da Si Xi, prints Major, Random and Minor in a bar along the very top. A few older frames, such as 7 Crazy, Baccarat and Dolphin Reef, keep a Current Balance box in the bottom left corner. No frame shows a currency sign, only numbers, and we blurred the balance on every screenshot here.

How a Mega888 ID and credit work

There is no sign up screen in Mega888. An agent, or a site with access to the Mega888 back office, creates the ID and password and hands them to you. You pay them in ringgit, usually by bank transfer, DuitNow or an e-wallet, and they put the same amount on your ID as credit. Cashing out runs the other way through the same person, who takes the credit back and pays you when they decide to.

That credit lives on Mega888 only. It won't move to LPE88 or any other app on this site, even where both carry the same game. Screenshot every transfer, start with a small amount and ask for a small withdrawal early on. Nobody issuing a game ID needs your online banking password or a TAC. The partner box at the end of this page belongs to a separate casino with its own account, and it doesn't issue Mega888 IDs.

Installing Mega888 and logging in

The old page had three buttons: an Android APK and two iPhone versions, one for 64 bit and one for 32 bit phones, all on a file host that no longer exists. We don't host or link app files. On Android, installing Mega888 means allowing "install unknown apps" for your browser or file manager, so switch it off again afterwards. On an iPhone it means trusting an enterprise profile, which Apple can revoke at any time. Skip anything sold as a Mega888 hack, mod or "latest APK": results are settled on the server, so a changed file can't change them, but it can read your SMS. Your login is the ID and password your issuer gave you, typed into the app's own login screen and nowhere else. Our install notes for Mega888 cover each device.

Thirty one games follow, numbers first and then A to Z, each written from its own screenshots. Where the old copy described a different game, and it often did, the section says so. The other apps have game lists of their own.

5 Fortune

The old page called this a fruit machine with bells and melons. Its ten screenshots show no fruit at all. The reels hold a gold ring set with 福, a gold coin stamped with an eagle, a gold abacus, a jade frog sitting on coins and a golden phoenix on a red tile, plus card ranks from 9 to K.

A single Jackpot meter sits under the top boxes. Most shots play one line at 0.01, and one plays all 20 at 0.05.

7 Crazy

A three reel cabinet with a single payline, standing in a row of other machines on red carpet. Coins go in with Bet One, Bet Two or Bet Max.

The pay table on the glass lists three red sevens at 100, 200 or 400 for one, two or three coins, green sevens at 50, 100 or 150, blue at 25, 50 or 75, and any three sevens at 5, 10 or 15.

African Wildlife

Cartoon animals in round portraits: a lion, a rhino and a zebra, alongside binoculars, a compass on a map, a water bottle and a rucksack. A grinning giraffe is the wild, and it stretches over a whole reel.

The bonus symbol is an explorer girl with a camera. Boards on both sides read 50 LINES, not the 20 the old page gave.

Aladdin Wishes

On screen the logo simply says ALADDIN. The reels carry Aladdin in a white turban, a scowling bandit in a red headscarf, a golden lamp on a purple glow, a curved sword, a flying carpet and ornate card ranks.

Twenty lines is the setting in every shot, and a Double button next to Auto Play lets you gamble a win.

Amazing Thailand

Gold and black reels under a temple roofline, with 泰國神遊 set into the logo. The picture symbols are a pair of ivory tusks, a pink lotus, a golden Buddha face, a gold stupa and a woman in Thai court dress. A tiger's face marked SCATTER is the scatter. One screenshot plays 50 lines at 0.01 each for 0.50, and a Random Jackpot meter sits beside Major and Minor. The old text never got further than the pay table.

Amazon Jungle

There are no ordinary reels here: seven round stone windows set in a honeycomb inside a jungle temple, each spinning on its own. They stop on a jaguar cub, a monkey, a blue parrot, a crocodile or a masked chief.

The panel allows up to 9 lines. The old page described a jungle princess, and she never appears.

Aztec's Treasure

White reels in a gold and purple frame. The picture symbols are a jaguar, a warrior in an eagle headdress, a woman in a feathered crown, a gold bead necklace and a jade and gold medallion, next to painted card ranks. Most screenshots play one line at 0.01, and one plays 20 lines at 0.05 for 1.00. The old page promised a witch doctor's mask, leopards and payouts of up to 5,000 coins, none of which the screens confirm.

Baccarat

A blue table called The 9 For 1, with a minimum bet of 1 and a maximum of 1000. Beside Player and Banker, six side boxes print their odds: Player Pair and Banker Pair 11:1, Perfect Pair 25:1, Either Pair 5:1, Big 0.54:1 and Small 1.5:1.

Here a 0.5 chip on Player wins as Player's 7 beats Banker's 6. Trust the table over the old page's payouts. 918Kiss lists a Baccarat too.

Big Prosperity

发大财 in gold on red. The pictures are the God of Wealth, red envelopes marked 福, a gold coin stamped 招财进宝, a gold dragon, gold ingots, a golden lion and a glowing 發.

The line tabs count up to 25, and one shot plays all 25 at 0.04. With three 發 on the reels, the banner above reads 8 FREE GAMES WON.

Boy King's Treasure

Two sphinx heads guard a golden frame, with a river and pyramids behind. The reels hold a falcon, a gold cuff set with a red stone, a gold lioness, a blue hippo, a pharaoh's mask and card ranks.

The bet row spells the sum out: bet per line times lines selected equals the bet. A Jackpot meter sits top left, and Minor and Major in the middle.

Captain's Treasure

An older cabinet design, with "5 reel multiline video slots" and "play 1 to 9 coins" printed down the right side.

The symbols are a pirate captain, an anchor, a ship's wheel, crossed cutlasses and parchment card ranks. A Dollar Ball box with an Enable switch sits by the logo, which the old page described as a side lottery of five numbers from 49. Joker123 has the same game.

Cherry Love

Dark reels in pink and purple. The symbols are a heart tattoo with LOVE on a banner, a red rose, a silver lighter, a diamond ring, the Cherry Love logo and a blonde woman's portrait, beside chrome card ranks. A pair of cherries marked Scatter is the scatter. The first screenshot plays 30 lines at 1.20 and the rest one line at 0.01. We haven't pictured it here. 918Kiss carries Cherry Love as well.

Circus

馬戲團 under the logo. Cartoon heads fill the reels: two kinds of clown, a tiger, an elephant, a monkey and a horse, with a striped ball and a row of skittles as extra symbols.

A red nosed clown girl carries the word Bonus. Every shot plays one line at a bet of 1. The old page credited another studio with 40 lines and mentioned a penguin that never shows up.

Cleopatra's Gold

Papyrus reels in front of a wall of hieroglyphs. The pictures are Cleopatra, the Eye of Horus, a scarab, a black cat and a gold ankh, with card ranks in blue, pink and red.

Cleopatra lands in stacks, and in this shot she fills most of the last three reels. One line at 0.01 in most shots, 20 lines at 0.05 in the first.

Cleopatra's Riches

Two screenshots from a darker temple with gold pillars. The reels hold a winged ankh, a winged scarab, a pharaoh's gold mask and jewelled card ranks. In the second shot three queens and the winged scarab line up on line 1 for 0.05, so the scarab looks like the wild. The bet row reads bet per line times lines selected, 0.01 times 1, and the autoplay button is misspelt AUTO PALY.

Coyote Cash

A desert road runs behind reels made of wooden planks. An eagle sheriff in a blue uniform, a grinning coyote, a steer skull, a cactus and an armoured truck are the pictures, and the card ranks look like boards nailed together.

A banner above the reels says the coyote doubles the prize. The first screenshot plays 25 lines at 0.04.

Crystal Waters

A beach with palm trees and a sailing boat sits behind the reels. The symbols are a seahorse, a sea turtle, a conch shell, an angelfish, a dolphin and a yacht, with glossy card ranks. Dolphins and yachts come as framed pictures that stack, and one spin pays 0.04 on line 1 with two dolphins and a yacht in the line. The first shot plays 20 lines at 0.05. The 2,000 coin consolation prize from the old page is nowhere on screen.

Da Si Xi

大四喜 is the name of a big winning mahjong hand. The reels show mahjong tiles for south, west and north, a mahjong table, casino chips, red dice, a green 莊 marker, gold ingots and a laughing God of Wealth.

A 發 tile with BONUS across it is the bonus symbol, and a gold framed tile marks the wild. The old page's wedding theme doesn't match any of this.

Discovery

The logo says The Discovery, and the theme is an old sea voyage. The pictures are a brass compass, a telescope with dividers, a green island, a hibiscus flower, a native woman and a bearded explorer.

Compasses stack here across reels 2 and 3, and the old page named the compass as the wild. One screenshot plays 25 lines at 1.00, the rest a single line at 0.01.

Dolphin Reef

Bright card ranks share the reels with clownfish, a starfish, a seahorse, a turtle and a framed dolphin. The first shot sets 20 lines at a bet of 1.00.

Small wins can be gambled. The screen above offers to turn 0.03 into 0.06 on a guess of red or black, with Collect to keep the win. The same game is on Joker123 and 918Kiss.

Dragon Gold

Red and gold, with one Jackpot meter under the top boxes. The reels carry a red 福 tile, gold ingots, a small treasure chest, a key, a red lantern, a pair of koi, a jade ball and a gold sunburst. It uses the same frame as 5 Fortune and Big Prosperity, with 20 line tabs. In one shot the lines paid nothing but an extra of 0.01 did, and a round Gamble button appeared in the corner.

Dragon Tiger

A card game, not the 30 line slot the old page described. The dealer turns one card for Dragon and one for Tiger, and the higher card wins. The table prints Dragon and Tiger at 1:2 and Tie at 1:9, and a note says a tie returns half of a Dragon or Tiger bet. Limits run from 0.5 to 1000, with an Auto Rebet button. We left out the screenshots, which show the dealer and a player ID. Joker123 has Dragon Tiger too.

Emperor Gate

斬五門 on a green frame, at 50 lines of 0.01. An armoured warrior with a long glaive is the wild.

The rules card says he appears only on reel 3, expands to fill it and triples the prize. A red studded gate is the scatter, and three or more start the feature. The other pictures are 義, a fortress tower, a young general, a bronze cup and a book. The old page's 38, 68 and 88 ways don't match these screens.

Enchanted Garden

A leafy frame around black reels. The pictures are a fairy with green hair, a white unicorn, a rainbow butterfly, a purple gem, a pink gem and a garden fountain, with sparkling card ranks wrapped in vines.

The old page said the fairy on reel 5 with the garden on reel 1 starts 7 free spins, but none of the eight shots shows it happening.

Fame and Fortune

Red theatre curtains frame the reels, and the logo is written Fame & Fortune. The pictures are a red vintage roadster, a FAME star, a gold statuette in a crystal award, the Hollywood sign and two portraits of film stars, among card ranks in blue, red, green and pink. Most screenshots play one line at 0.01, and the first plays 20 lines at 0.05. One ends in a BIG WIN splash for a win of 0.12.

Feng Shen

The logo spells it Fong Shen. Five stone discs above the reels carry the five elements, and stone guardians stand at either side.

The symbols are painted heroes, a boy in a red scarf, a woman in a feathered crown and a young man in blue, plus a blue qilin, a jade dragon, a phoenix and a bagua disc. Nine lines, and most shots play one line at a bet of 1.

Five Dragons

No paylines here. Panels marked REEL POWER flank the reels, and the bet button reads 5 REELS + EXTRA, so you pay per reel rather than per line.

The pictures are gold statues of a turtle, a koi, a guardian lion and a phoenix, with red envelopes and card ranks wearing little crowns. Major, Random and Minor figures sit at the top.

Fortune Fest

Chinese New Year on red. The reels hold a gold ingot, stacks of coins, a red lantern marked 年, painted fans, 福 knots, a red envelope and a paper fish.

The wild is a lion dance head, and here it covers the whole of reel 4. Random, Major and Minor meters sit in a panel on the left, above a Game Win box. The old page drifted into a different game called Fortune Superstar.

Fortune Panda

Five reels of four rows in a bamboo forest, with a 25 LINER badge on each side and a switch for 25 or 50 lines. Pandas stack, and a gold seal is the wild.

Other symbols are bamboo, square holed coins, red envelopes, a paper butterfly, oranges, apples and a jade pendant. A Double button offers a gamble after a win. Play8oy has Fortune Panda too.

Snow World

Nothing to do with Snow White, whatever the old page said. This is a winter holiday slot with a polar bear marked WILD, a snowman marked BONUS, a moose, a snowboard, a woolly hat, ice skates, skis and an igloo.

Line numbers run to 25, and the two shots play at bets of 100 and 25. The balance box is labelled CURRENT BALANEC.

Zhao Cai Jin Bao

招财进宝 in red, with a Dollar Ball Enable box and a Turbo Mode switch. The pictures are the God of Wealth in red robes, a dragon, a phoenix, a guardian lion and a gold ingot heaped with coins, and the card ranks carry small charms such as a fan, a pearl and a nest of eggs.

A banner says five of one symbol pay 5000 times the line bet. LPE88 has a Zhao Cai Jin Bao Jackpot with similar symbols.
